 RECENT VALLEY IMPACT

Junior League members helped to support a League program this year by participating in the Wellness Community Lot Party. The Wellness Community helps to provide services to families and individuals with cancer. Twelve League volunteers helped to decorate, ready crafts, and assist with games throughout the event. Our members helped to impact 40 cancer patients and their families on this day by helping to provide respite and a few hours of fun for these families

The Valley Impact committee partnered with the Arizona Science Center for this year's Hallopalooza event. Junior League members staffed craft and activity tables, sign in tables, and even judged the Halloween costume contest! The winners of the five and under category were the mummy babies (shown here with Kelly from Mid First Bank). JLP members helped participating families with glow-in-the-dark temporary tattoos, drawing Halloween pictures, making ghosts and screaming balloons, and helping with bloody handprints and making slime!
